Métro Paris ("we", "our", "the app") is an independent public transport application for navigating the Paris metro, RER, bus, and tramway networks. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All app data, including your favorite stations and language preferences, is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

3. Location Data

The app may request access to your device's location services solely to:

• Find the nearest metro station to your current position
• Display your location on the map

Location data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to any server, stored, or shared with any third party.

4. Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect and use certain data for advertising purposes, including:

• Device identifiers (IDFA, if permitted)
• IP address
• General location (country/region level)
• App usage data

5. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g., which features are most popular). This data is anonymous and aggregated — it does not identify individual users. No personal information is collected through analytics.

6. Third-Party Services

The app integrates the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — advertising
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
• Firebase Remote Config — app configuration
• Apple MapKit — map display

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no risk of data breach from our side. All data remains on your device under Apple's security protections.

9. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored by us, there is no data to access, modify, or delete. You can clear all app data by deleting the app from your device.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

11. Intellectual Property

Station names, line names, and transport network data are the property of their respective owners (RATP, SNCF, Île-de-France Mobilités). Map data is provided by Apple Maps. Métro Paris is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these organizations.
